The Rose Gold colour is a trend that shows no sign of diminishing and seems to be a firm favourite with everyone. To be quite honest, my house is full of Rose Gold and I have even bought a can of Rose Gold Spray Paint to spray paint some of my old home accessories into a fresh new colour. A plant pot, my coffee pot and even my wooden bread knife holder is now sprayed Rose Gold (I may have gone a little bit overboard with the spray can).
Anyway, we now have Rose Gold Hair styling at Pure Hair Design and I couldn’t be more excited! There have been some quite daring new hairstyle trends including the metallic greys that have emerged this year, however this metallic Rose Gold look is a fantastic blend of daring and natural colouring which looks incredible.
Carrigan came in wanting a new look to revive her hair, but wanted to keep it natural looking as well, and what better way to do this by doing a Rose Gold ombre. Carrigan’s previous ombre had to be refreshed and lightened to help the metallic Rose Gold stand out. To achieve a natural looking ombre, Julie had to backcomb the hair so there is no harsh line. It may look a mess, but the end result is definitely worth it. Once the hair has been lightened, it’s time for the Rose Gold! The colour gets applied all over the hair and left for half an hour before being shampooed and conditioned.
To finish the look, Julie trimmed the hair and gave Carrigan large, glamourous curls to show off the stunning Rose Gold colour. To maintain this colour as a long term hair style, Carrigan will be making regular trips back to us to keep this style looking new and fresh.
